The measurments you record using the guide will be the exact outer dimensions of the blind ordered, including the mehacnisim, no part of the blind will be exceed these measurements.
On blinds where the material is not as wide as the mecahsisim such as roller blinds, the measurements you order are the overall size of the blind and not the size of the material.
Measuring for Top Fix (Inside Mount) Blinds
WIDTH
Measure the width of the wall opening at the top, middle, and bottom, from the inside edge of one wall to the inside edge of the opposite wall to find the narrowest section.
Deduct 10mm from the narrowest measurement to allow for clearance.
Record this as the Width (in mm)
HEIGHT
Measure height (drop) in 3 places from the top of the wall openeing until the window sill (left, middle and right top to bottom) to find the shortest height.
Deduct 5mm from the narrowest measurement to allow for clearance.
Record this as the Height (in mm)
It is essential that you make the advised deductions to ensure the blind will fit inside your window frame. The Decor Connection will order the blind according to the measurements that you provide and will not make any deductions to your provided measurements.
Start measurement at the depth where your brackets will be installed
WIDTH
Measure the width of the area you want to cover (75mm overlap on each side recommended)
Record measurement as Width (in mm.)
Face Fix (Outside Mount) Blinds will be made to your exact measurement
HEIGHT
Determine where you want the top of your blind to be positioned and mark the spot
Measure height to be covered from the top of marked headrail position to top of sill. If no sill exist, measure below the opening to your desired length
